Side effects of Pandemic
2. Effectiveness of online calls is questionable. It was fine when it was needed. Now situation is such, people are addictive. Speaker speaks assuming that everyone is listening but who nows. Online calls were supposed replace in person meetings but not face to face meetings. My guess is that 90% of participants don’t switch on their camera with hilarious excuses like bandwidth issue (are you in Stone Age Bro!), some issue with my webcam (then go and get if fixed), etc. etc. I am now habituated to talk to a black screen in front of me.
3. As I see outside, everything has returned to normalcy but for discussion purpose there third wave, forth wave and so on… as of yesterday there are only 0.0123 Cr active cases of COVID19 (source: Aarogya Setu app) out of 138 Cr (as of 2020) Indians, which is 0.0089%. Further, 40% of the adult population is fully vaccinated.
4. COVID appropriate behaviour has become a fashion statement.
5. Poor become poorer and rich become richer.
6. Many sole bread earners lost their source of income.
7. Mental health is and will be further larger cause of concern. Mind plays - we are giving full opportunity to it.
I am not saying that pandemic is over but surely saying that is currently under control - As we behave responsibly and follow the CAB / get vaccinated - situation will remain under control.
